Who We Are Looking For

We are offering a fantastic entry-level opportunity for those looking to provide administrative support to  Senior Legal Assistants within the Tax, Trusts and Estates Group.  The successful candidate will be team oriented and able to establish strong working relationships with the group. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

·          Assist with various administrative functions as required including:

        o   data entry with attention to detail

        o    perform a variety of administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, scanning, binding of documents, arranging couriers, document management

        o   opening and closing files

        o    typing from dictations

        o    handling incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail

·          Assist with billing and invoicing including:

        o    processing payments 

        o    preparing and sending invoices to clients 

        o    Post time sheets (using Acumin accounting software)

        o    following up with clients on payments 

·          Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

·          Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and ability to type a minimum of 45 WPM

·          Excellent oral and written skills

·          Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

·          Able to exercise good judgment with prioritizing tasks and time management

·         Able to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision

·          Able to communicate with clients, lawyers and staff

·          Possess a positive approach to daily tasks and has a solutions focused working method
